To All Residents,
In our ongoing efforts to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility, the city council has approved new recycling regulations that will take effect starting next month. These regulations aim to improve the efficiency of waste management processes and reduce the environmental footprint of our community.
Under the new regulations, residents are required to separate recyclables into four categories: plastics, metals, paper, and glass. Each category must be placed in its designated recycling bin, which will be provided by the city. Additionally, electronic waste collection days will be scheduled quarterly to safely dispose of electronics and batteries.
To assist with the transition, the city will be hosting free workshops on effective recycling practices. These workshops are designed to provide valuable information on sorting recyclables and understanding the new regulations.
We believe these changes will have a positive impact on our environment and encourage all residents to participate actively in our recycling efforts.
